As the Ninth Dreamer, Jayben is the only one who can defeat Null, the evil villain who has been making everyone in the Elf World forget. But the crystals that give Jayben his power are quickly fading, and he needs to uncover the missing words from the Book of Dreamers to finally free everyone from Null's curse. When Jayben finds an electrifying blue stone, he quickly learns that it can transport him anywhere in the blink of an eye - but it can be dangerous unless used properly.

A year has gone by since Jayben took half of Null's powerful crystals using the Golden Torch, but now the torch has been stolen. Without it, Jayben must find another way to harness his power.

When eleven-year-old Jayben finds himself in a fantastical new world, he wonders what it all means: Jayben has blanks in his memory due to his epileptic seizures as a result of brain injury. But when Jayben finds a curved torch in his pocket, an Elf family reveal he is the GREAT NINTH DREAMER. It sounds pretty cool, but The Book of Destiny—which instructs Jayben on his mission—is filled with blank pages... He will have to find out what he needs to do quickly because the residents have been waiting for him.

Sandy Fin and his best friend Lily are enjoying life by the sea, after saving Portwhistle and its marine life from Albo Start's aquapark. Suddenly, odd things start to occur: an escaped convict is on the loose, curious mounds of sand appear on the beach. Strangest of all are reported sightings of the Phantom Diver – a figure of Portwhistle legend, long believed to be a figment of the most inventive imagination! Suspicious, Sandy and Lily dive, snoop and climb their way through the mystery towards the Phantom Diver's true identity.

Sandy Fin lives in the Museum of Seaside Stories with the famous explorer Emile du Pont and their collection of treasures. Sandy and his best friend Lily are being taught the art of ocean exploration by Emile, aided by his ingenious inventions. When the museum's future is in peril, it is up to Sandy and Lily to save it. But then Albo Start arrives! Start plans to turn Portwhistle Bay into a Seaworld-style theme park named Splash Landing, locking up Portwhistle’s cherished marine life in tiny tanks.
