A four-part series of interwoven dramas, set in Liverpool over a long weekend. Friday by Tracy Aston – Edith and Albert are on the run: Edith from the Old Folks' Home and Albert from his family and fast-approaching insanity. Having discovered Albert talking to a dead body in the cathedral gardens, Edith takes him away from the scene and under her wing. Starring Patricia Hayes as Edith and Michael Angelis as Albert.

Also included is a Home Truths Special programme to mark the anniversary of John Peel's death, in which Tom Robinson visits Peel Acres to meet John's wife and their four children.
