World-renowned trainer Sean O’Shea, owner and founder of The Good Dog Training and Rehabilitation, saw some recurring themes consistently derailing the human/dog relationship. Sean discovered that countless trainers and owners were struggling to not only understand these issues but to put clear, concise, easy-to-understand words to them. The Good Dog Way: Love Them by Leading Them, fills that incredibly important gap. Until its release, dog training books almost exclusively focused on training mechanics, commands, and rules, but had missed the all-important "why".

Volume one took an overarching look at the biggest, most common mistakes owners make, and broke them down in a simple, clear, straightforward fashion that was easy to understand and led many to begin to re-examine, reset, and ultimately create far fuller and more enjoyable lives with their dogs. Volume two continues this journey of examining ourselves and our dogs but dives even deeper into the concepts that made volume one so helpful.

No matter where we are in life, we all have a gap. It's the space between our current reality and our untapped, unrealized potential. Our work, if we are to be of the best service to ourselves, our families, and the rest of the world, is to close that gap a little more every day. These are the principles I employed that took me from being a broke and broken valet at 40, to just a handful of years later becoming a successful entrepreneur, author, and world-renowned dog trainer. By closing the gap in knowledge, we can close the gap in potential.
