Carly Zimpleton

Carly Zimpleton never says no to a good workout, but her favorite sport in the world is gymnastics! The Jr Olympics at school are Carly’s chance to demonstrate her skills, and Carly can’t wait! “Hey, Carly, break a leg!” her classmate tells her. Carly knows this means “good luck” and smiles. She starts her performance with a few graceful dance moves and waves her baton around, making the ribbon swirl in the air! Then, Carly gears up for the finale: the double flip she has practiced so hard. Will she pull off the perfect landing? Everyone is on the edge of their seats.

Carly has been in love with the Olympics since she first saw the games on TV. Now that the Junior Olympics are coming back to her school, she is super excited! She starts to practice immediately, but after her accident last time, she’s convinced her favorite turquoise suit is bad luck. Her pink suit feels too tight and itchy. She just can’t stand it! Carly’s mom promises it’s just for practice. She’s been preparing something special for Carly to wear at the competition.... Carly can’t wait to see it! Will her new suit help her shine and win that gold medal at last?

Carly loves good weather. When it’s sunny, she can go outside and play with her dog, Max! Max is a bit of a handful, and he likes to chase anything that moves. When he and Carly take a walk in the woods near her house, he immediately starts leaving his mark everywhere. Carly doesn’t mind, but when Max begins chasing a bunch of squirrels, she suddenly loses him!
