Chronicles of the Watchers

Elijah is a watcher, part of an order of immortals placed on earth at the dawn of time to teach and guide humans. When the evil Semjaza leads a third of the order in rebellion, Eli tries to contain the damage. But thousands of years later, the fallen watchers’ destructive influence on humanity has only spread. It is 1914, and the evil watchers, now led by Lu, have started a world war. Eli is desperate to stop the conflict, but everything changes when he meets the remarkable French nurse, Michelle.

It is 1933. Elijah has been searching for the vanished Michelle for fifteen years but is no closer to finding her. Frustrated by his lost ability to influence mortals, the shattered Eli can do nothing as Lu and the rogue watchers guide Hitler into power. When the persistent reporter, Cleto Nazario, shows up with information from the Vatican’s secret archives that might help him locate Michelle, Eli must decide whether he can trust him. Meanwhile, trapped in a dark abyss, Michelle must fend for herself.
