The Devil's Soldiers

How does this stuff keep happening to me? First, it was my cheating ex and the—uh—"accident" that had everyone in town calling me crazy. Now, I've moved to a completely different state, and what have I done? I dropped right into another problem. This time, though, it's not a cheating ex; it's the Russian Mob. To make matters worse, I now have to live with the son of my landlords, who are part of the Devil's Soldiers MC. He's a smart-mouthed, arrogant jerk. I don't care how hot he is, I'm not about to make his life easy. Except, the chemistry between us is out of this world.

I thought he was going to be different, but Torque is the same as every other man when they see a female mechanic. He assumed I was applying for a job as a receptionist to try and lure him into my bed. Well, screw him. Now I'm working for another shop, but not everything is as it appears. I try to ignore it and just work, but when things go south, I have nowhere to turn. Except for one man and his club. Sparks fly, and I realize fighting him might be a losing battle. Now, I'm a respected social worker for a private VA clinic, and I devote my time to helping veterans find their way in civilian life. I have no time for relationships, and to be honest, I'm too shy to attempt it. Then he keeps getting thrown in my path: Shadow, the enforcer for the Devil's Soldiers MC. A man who is making me question what I want and also pulling at my heart with every piece of himself he gives me.

Stone Fox is the most aggravating man I have ever met. Not to mention, I'm tired of him throwing my K9 training career in my face as though I'm a threat to him and his club. After all I've done for them, the least he could do is stop acting like I'm untrustworthy. Suddenly, trouble comes knocking, and whoever they are try to shut down my business and take my dogs. I have no choice but to turn to the Devil's Soldiers—and Stone—for help. But will I ever be able to forgive him? My body wants to, but my mind and heart tell me to run the other way.
