The Protectors (Gabelman)

After the bombing at the Guardian wedding tension within the VC ranks intensifies. Word on the street is that the deaths were a warning to the Warriors. Already on edge and overworked the Warriors and Guardians work together to find those responsible. Sources have informed the Warriors that the police as well as the government may have some involvement. Ex-cop, Lana Fitzpatrick, finds herself on the front line in a race to expose an enemy that may succeed in what many have tried before, to bring the invincible VC Warriors down.

Life has never been easy for Raven, and she liked it that way. Keeping things interesting was her motto. Once a Dark Guardian Raven is now a VC Warrior who feels caught between two worlds. Her loyalty to both was sometimes an inner battle within herself. Being a woman in a man's world she's had to battle harder, be smarter, and never play the woman card she had turned in so many years ago. Once again, she finds herself fighting for her place and once again, she walks alone in that fight.
