We join Montana, recently returned from an impromptu study abroad trip, a bit wiser, a bit broader in perspective, and a lot freaked out by the once-dead person who's currently in his bedroom. Possible zombie sightings aside, he's finally ready to take his job as Duke seriously. And just in time too - not only are the politics of the capital rapidly closing in on Montana's little valley holding, but there are also goblins to negotiate with. Plus, that cult threatening to take the lives of his citizens.

Upon awakening in an abandoned lab, Evelyn is empowered by a system that grants her bloody magical powers in exchange for finishing missions and consuming her enemies. She knows one truth: no matter the cost, she will advance. She'll manipulate allies and spread demonic corruption with a smile if that's what it takes to level up. Luckily, my party has the skills to get it done. Unfortunately, The System isn’t so simple. There is a power monster lurking beneath the Earth in SoCal, and it is planning to trigger a massive Earthquake that will destroy the entire west coast, safe zone or not.

As time passes, Scarlet grows more accustomed to life as a Guardian. Life at Lion's Heart. And to her status as a half demon noble. But the Class V Fracture nears, and everything she has come to know is threatened to change. Will this change be a good one though? Or a bad one.

The most dangerous night of the year is upon Coggeshall. Fiends' Night, when the boundary between Vuldranni and hell is the weakest. And so hell comes out to play. To survive the night, Montana must put his entire holding on lockdown and turn hastily made cave apartments into an actual, inviting home for thousands of Coggeshall residents. Most of whom don't really know or like each other. And all of whom have different ideas of what needs to be done on Fiends' Night.

Calder, his party, and the rest of the Touched in Berring were able to hold off an entire orc army from destroying their village, but the danger to their world has not yet passed. The entirety of Halanor is under attack. The forces of Darkness have only increased their onslaught. More Dark Portals are popping up all over the world with all manner of beasts stepping through. While Calder struggles to understand what it means to be an Avatar of Light, he and his party venture out of Berring in hopes of protecting their world from the threat against it.

But she doesn't suspect the virtual world is close enough to touch - or that she'll be battling for her life against the Dark Queen of the faeries. Tam Linn is the perfect hero - in-game.
