"Revenge's Deadly Price: A Detective Jameson Novel" is a gripping and suspenseful mystery novel that follows the investigations and cases of retired detective Jameson. The book follows Jameson as he takes on two murder cases, one involving a married couple and the other involving an old college friend, as he uncovers a web of secrets and lies that lead to the suspects, including jealousy, financial motives and personal grudges. But just as he thinks he's closed his last case, Jameson himself becomes a victim of murder, and his wife Jessica takes up the investigation.

In "The Invisible Man", a murderer manages to get in and out of a house, even though it is under constant observation. In some ways, the story parallels Poe's "The Purloined Letter" but adds its own unique touches, particularly in the character and methods of priest-sleuth Father Brown.

"The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist" is one of the 56 Sherlock Holmes short stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It was originally published as part of The Return of Sherlock Holmes in 1903.

Peterson takes the goose home to eat it, but comes back later with a precious carbuncle that his wife found in the bird's crop.

Arthur Conan Doyle ranked "The Red-Headed League" second in his list of his 12 favorite Sherlock Holmes stories. It is one of Holmes' most intriguing cases, in which he has to solve a problem caused by a strange society in which the only criteria for admission is bright red hair!

This is a "Nameless Detective" mystery story that starts with the thefts of several exotic animals from San Francisco's Fleishhacker Zoo - and ends with murder.
