While chasing down an informant, a Chihuahua accidentally ends up in the middle of the Iditarod dog race across Alaska.

Rex had always known that he was an intelligent dog. He was very proud of the fact that he could count to 100. He could read some words if they were not too long. He was also the very best at fetching the newspaper for his people. He loved his people. Adam and Sally were his two favorites. They played with him every day. They would throw a ball as far as they could, and Rex would run and grab it in his mouth. If he were exceptionally fast, he would catch the ball in the air. Rex was proud of that too. As far as good dogs went, Rex was one of the best.

In their very first dream adventure, two young brothers, James and Joe, and their dog, Maximo, find themselves waking up in a dark, mysterious cave where they meet with a strange singing man searching for his lost magic charm. When strange things happen, they wonder if he is really a wizard!

Three multiracial seven-year-old boys, Derek, Chris, and Brian, with difficult backgrounds befriend special tiny creatures Cubbie Blue and his tinier dog, Dot, who come from an enchanted part of Antarctica. Even though they are small and therefore appearing vulnerable, the creatures are wise and have supernatural powers.
