It helps them realize that the Bible does not belong to their abuser but is a text of liberation. In relationships, the presence of healthy boundaries keeps relationships healthy and functional. The rights and responsibilities remain justified, and encroachment of personal space doesn't take place. Boundaries can help in preventing relationships from becoming toxic.
