Seen through the eyes of 13-year-old Lafayette, this is the story of three brothers, each locked in their own grief and guilt after the sudden death of their mother. Deep feelings and family secrets are revealed as, despite the odds against them, the brothers learn to pull together.

Life forced me to change my tragedy into triumph after losing my oldest son, Christopher, to a car crash in 2006. Because of this, I host workshops around the country to assist families and breaking generational barriers for their family members and removing the pain from past encounters.

A.C. Babbitt and her husband lost their son, Timothy Lyle Babbitt, May 9, 2016, due to miscarriage.
