يحتوي هذا الكتاب ذو العنوان الظريف على أربعين مقالاً كتبها الطبيب منصور أنور حبيب وهي نتاج خبرته في مجال طب الأسرة والصحة المهنية، يقدم معلومات طبية مهمة بأسلوب أدبي سهل، وحملت المقالات عناوين شيقة، ويقول الطبيب أنه اختار عالم الطب ليتمكن من مساعدة المرضى والتحفيف عنهم، لكن شغفه بالقراءة استمر فجمع ما بين عالم الطب وعالم الكتابة ووضع هذا الكتاب بمجموعة من العناوين، منها: "يا طبيب لماذا أخطأت في علاج طفلي"، "مجرم العصر"، "شيخوخة صحية"، "إجازة"، "دموع أنثى"، "مدينة المستقبل"، "هل أنت ذكي".

حسن كمال هو كاتب وطبيب، تخرج من جامعة القاهرة في عام 1999، ثم حصل الماجستير والدكتوراة في أمراض الروماتيزم والتأهيل، يعمل طبيباً في المركز القومي، أصدر ثلاث مجموعات قصصية وهي (كشري مصر) و(لدغات عقارب الساعة) و(كان فرعون طيباً)، وروايتين (المرحوم) و(الأسياد) ولاقت الروايتان نجاحاً كبيراً.
