Muslim Love

By listening to this manifesto, I vow to care for my spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being. I vow to free myself from the need to meet others’ expectations, seeking only the approval of Allah (swt) as I pursue a life of purpose and peace. I promise to seek out knowledge, surround myself with positive influences, and engage in practices that nurture my soul. I will remind myself daily that my worth is not defined by the standards of others, but by my devotion to Allah (swt) and the sincerity of my intentions.

For all the debate over Islam and its growing presence in the world, one thing is often overlooked: Islam is not a religion in the sanitized Western sense. It is, in contrast, an all-encompassing sociopolitical legal matrix that has bred a worldview antagonistic to anything but itself.
