With the Slosth and Devil Incursions taken care of, Drew Wright should be settling down for some well-deserved rest. Most will die. Some will survive. A small few will thrive. My party and I cleared the dungeon in Griffith Park, got a ton of loot, and saved the safe zone. So far so good, but Los Angeles is a big city with a bunch of safe zones that need saving, and there are ton of innocent people who are gonna die if we can’t do it. Luckily, my party has the skills to get it done. Unfortunately, The System isn’t so simple. There is a power monster lurking beneath the Earth in SoCal, and it is planning to trigger a massive Earthquake that will destroy the entire west coast, safe zone or not.

Marc and his party have finished their zeppelin and taken it out to try to discover other Safe Zones. Their intent is to set up trade routes between all the different Safe Zones in order to give them a better chance to survive. The second Safe Zone they discover with the zeppelin is nearly as large as Any Port. It even has its own ring of outlier Safe Zones, or a partial ring at least. It appears that several of the smaller Safe Zones have been taken and converted into dungeons. With the safety of the larger Safe Zone at stake, they bring the zeppelin down to help the larger Safe Zone.

Nick Abrahams still holds the official world record for the number of space launches, but he’s bored stiff with his job hosting space tours. Only when his wife leaves him, however, does he try to change his life. He accepts a tempting offer from a Russian billionaire. In exchange for making a simple repair on Neptune’s moon Triton, he will return to Earth a multi-millionaire, enabling him to achieve his ‘impossible dream’ of buying his own California vineyard.

Everything seems to be going great until Jeb is teleported into a tutorial, along with everyone else on Earth. Now, he has to choose the level of difficulty. There's just one problem: He's high as a kite, and nothing seems impossible.

Loch, reunited with Kelly, have dealt with the leadership of the invading Silver Bark elves. Now they must deal with the rest of the elvish forces. That will deal with one of the many threats facing the growing Clan Brady. But the biggest threat is coming. Winter. Loch and the Clan must scramble to prepare for the coming snows and cold, afraid that the System will bring challenges along with the weather. The Clan isn't prepared. They are lacking in food and shelter.

Jeb is settling into his role as the head of the biggest orphanage in the alien city of Solmnath, taking in hundreds of human children orphaned by the harsh trials of the Tutorial.
