The books of the Bible were written at different times by different authors over a period of approximately 1,500 years from around 1400 BC through AD 90. The Old Testament was written in biblical Hebrew, excluding the books written during "the Chaldean captivity" such as Daniel and Ezra which were written in biblical Aramaic.

This volume begins the study of the Word of God at the very beginning: the book of Genesis. These teachings were compiled from a series Lance shared with the brothers and sisters at Halford House in Richmond, Surrey. Lance went back through this series later in life and provided a study guide to accompany these lessons. The guide is included to help enhance your study. This volume is derived from actual Bible studies and has been kept close to the original with very minor edits.
