"Historically", the inscription beneath the marble statue notes, "these three stand unique and peerless." In fact, the statue has a glaring omission: Lucy Stone.

Carla Del Ponte won international recognition as Switzerland's attorney general when she pursued cases against the Sicilian mafia.
