World War Ii Mystery Thriller

It is March 1938. A print worker petitions Holmes about the disappearance of a fellow worker at the Daily Mail. Holmes investigates, and after interviews with the newspaper’s proprietor, Viscount Rothermere, and with Joachim von Ribbentrop, the German ambassador, it becomes clear the missing print worker has died fulfilling a commission for the German ambassador, although it is not clear what the commission is.

In Nazi-occupied Normandy, Resistance fighter Marie Leclerc and American OSS operative Jack Davis risk everything to undermine German defenses. Through clandestine operations, coded messages carried by pigeons, and daring sabotage, they navigate a landscape of betrayal and danger. As their bond deepens amidst the chaos, they confront the brutal Gestapo officer known as the Bavarian Butcher, whose shadow looms over their mission.
