最上川が舞台の現代の民話です。 在野の名医宙庵は、招かれてみかどの病を治すために都へと向かう途中、最上川の大滝に住まう不思議な娘、琴姫と出会います。意気投合した二人は楽しいひと時を過ごしますが、やがて宙庵は再会を約束して再び都に向かいます。その時に琴姫は宙庵にある物を託しますが、それが後に二人の運命を翻弄することになろうとは。はたしてその行く末は...?堀 貞一郎1929年、東京生まれ。1953年日本電報通信社(後の電通)入社。ラジオ、テレビのプロデューサーとして活躍。70年の大阪万国で企画プロデュースや、72年東京ディズニーランドの誘致に尽力、総合プロデュー サーとして立ち上げに携わる。2006年「波切石平」で東京・世田谷文学賞を受賞。日本観光学会特別顧問。(C)2011余暇通信社
