I had forgotten that these are often bundled in books where two or three pages are all the tale’s depth and length and the fact they often turn on a single word in a sentence as ‘evidence’ isn’t quite as… unsatisfying as it feels as an audiobook.
I am a little surprised to find that the text shows up on the player when I use the iPad to play these. Reading the silly mystery as the audio plays gives me the opportunity to look for that one word upon which the mystery will hang and is all that little bit more satisfactory. (Except not in this case as I ‘solved’ it but I have so many other questions that the story has no space to answer.)

Ok, three in a row (to be listened to) is a mistake. This isn’t very satisfying as a puzzler.
