À propos de cet audio

Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly—proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance—and healing—in each other's arms.

Performed by Colleen Delany, Natalie Van Sistine, Jon Vertullo, Aure Nash, Anthony Palmini, Melody Muze, Renee Dorian, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Matthew Bassett, Amanda Forstrom, Karenna Foley, Jeri Marshall, Jenna Sharpe, Ryan Haugen, Gabriel Michael, David Jourdan, Julie-Ann Elliott, Rob McFadyen, Rayner Gabriel, Carolyn Kashner, Christopher Graybill, Nhea Durousseau, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Mike Carnes, and Holly Adams.

I loved the characters and the voices that went with it the music in the background was a bit distracting at first but I got used to it

It flowed real well and I liked the characters and the voices were great!!

I was super excited to get into Nesta's story. I loved her voice actress in the other books and was excited to get a whole book from them. So I was disappointed to not have her narrating her parts of the book as it would have felt more cohesive. I also don't like the choice of using the same narrator who is female for narrating Cassian's POV. It was hard to get into his head and feel like it was not his POV. Considering this book had a decent amount from his POV, they should have duel narrated it.

I also personally found the narrator sounded robotic and like AI at times. Having an electronic voice it made it hard to enjoy the story.

it was alright but not as good as the first three

The audiobook version of ACOSF was well worth the wait. The best one so far!

Absolute perfection!!

I love the change of pace with Nesta being the main character. I like her friends. The voice acting is amazing. It's much spicier than the other novels, especially part 2. I like that she's living up to her power (unlike Feyre - Feyre has all those gifts, but felt most powerful in book 1).
I definitely have enjoyed this more than book 3 and 4.

Really good!

Not like the other dramatized books. Story is great but this dramatized version is not as enjoyable as the others in the series format

Confusing narration

My second favourite book behind ACOMAF, I loved that we got the chance to explore more of Nesta's character. There's a lot of hatred towards her which I don't understand. Her trauma and the explanations for her attitude being the way it is are very clearly painted in this story, and we also get to see her take a journey to healing from it that we don't often get to see in major series' like these. Has she hurt people in her quest not to feel anything, not to process her trauma and try to move past it? Yes. Have people also hurt her, assumed the worst of her, and disregarded her safety, opinions, and feelings entirely? Yes, they have, and it's extremely evident in parts of this book. Her whole life has been a give and take from other people, and I'm so proud to see her take back what was stolen from her and move herself towards healing from it all, see her finally obtain the happiness that she's been so desperately chasing after not only for herself, but for her family as well.

10/10, definitely reading this again AND recommending the series to others.

Nesta is a beast, the good kind.

unpopular opinion, I've always loved nesta, she has so much character, even though she is so angry, maybe I can kinda relate to the anger issues, making me like her character. I was very excited for her story. and I haven't been disappointed! I'm still waiting on part 2. but the first part was amazing, I'd prefer if each character narrated their own part instead of a third part narrator. but everything else is perfect. great listen.

love

Love the series but happy that the shift has now been made to focus on Nesta. Although the whole story is rather captivating, appreciating other character developments. Fayra and Rhys are great but, it was dragging on a little. This is definitely a welcomed and refreshing storyline

Loving the focus on Nesta
