À propos de cet audio

"Prophecy always finds a way."

The will of the fates has come to pass. Monsters swarm from the depths, while dragons soar overhead. And the throne of Islor lies vacant . . . but not for long.

Fleeing the merciless sirens, Tyree and Annika find themselves stranded on a distant shore. Forced together to survive, they find old magics and terrifying new enemies.

For Romeria and Zander, the long-held secrets of the casters' magic reveal a chance to finally master the power that has held all their lives in the balance for too long. But with power comes betrayal. And sacrifices must be made.

The final book in the captivating Fate of Wrath and Flame series.

Overall I really enjoyed this series. However I feel like too much was shoved into this final book and not enough went into wrapping up the various storylines. It was given a hasty ending, breezing past the outcome of various character plots and it left me feeling unsatisfied. Like the attraction that Jarrick feels for Romeria and why he’s having dreams about her other face is not dealt with at all. What about the Gilded Doe that’s been mentioned since book 1? There was a whole lot of build up that basically fizzled into nothing at the end. Perhaps there is an intension to do spin-off series, but still, too much is left hanging or unexplained at the end. I’d still recommend the series, because it was a well written and entertaining story overall. The narrator is AMAZING and so, so, so talented. She deserves all the awards for her work on this series!

Ending fell flat

The narrator was outstanding, plot lines and characters were excellent!!!!! The story had amazing twists and turns that made sense and ones where the author inspired your imagination to ask yourself what’s next. One of the best series I’ve read.

Incredible series

Story:
While providing a satisfying conclusion, it feels like this final book of the series has gone downhill compared to previous entries:
* MC doesn't get enough independent stage time/action - it's mostly either male companions or gods "helping" her
* the final battle's ending was very anti-climatic (it's ironic that even the MC admitted so in the book)
* too many PoVs that switch too frequently (especially during the last 30 chapters where it switches every 1~4 min)

Performance:
same actress - flawless as with the previous entries

Somewhat disappointing
