Publisher's Summary

In the third book in the number-one New York Times best-selling series by Chris Colfer, the Brothers Grimm have a warning for the Land of Stories.

Conner Bailey thinks his fairy-tale adventures are behind him - until he discovers a mysterious clue left by the famous Brothers Grimm. With help from his classmate Bree and the outlandish Mother Goose, Conner sets off on a mission across Europe to crack a 200-year-old code.

Meanwhile, Alex Bailey is training to become the next Fairy Godmother...but her attempts at granting wishes never go as planned. Will she ever be truly ready to lead the Fairy Council?

When all signs point to disaster for the Land of Stories, Conner and Alex must join forces with their friends and enemies to save the day. But nothing can prepare them for the coming battle...or for the secret that will change the twins' lives forever.

The third book in the best-selling Land of Stories series puts the twins to the test as they must bring two worlds together!

Favorite Series

I love The Land of Stories series so far. I'm almost 30, and I think they're fantastic. I was a little disappointed in Colfer's narration of the story at first, but I got used to it, and have already moved on to the next story. I have these books in print, but just never got around to finishing all of them, so I figured why not a better time than now with all the traveling I do to and from work every day.

11 - year old reviewer

If you could sum up A Grimm Warning in three words, what would they be?

funny, thrilling, and awesome.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Grimm Warning?

My favorite part of the book is when Conner met OMG (Old Mother Goose) for the first time.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene in the book is when the sick fairy godmother single handedly fought the dragon.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Kids who live in separate dimensions that must be reunited to save the world.

Any additional comments?

This book is the best. It's scary and funny at the same time and the narrator makes the jokes even funnier.

Ok installment in fairy tale series

My son liked this installment more than I did. I don't think the author is the best narrator. More significantly, neither of us thought the characters were likable or believable in this one. The female protagonist and many of the female minor characters seemed unlikeable. My son thought the male protagonist was very immature given his stated age. That said, he enjoyed the story and that saved it for him.
