Karl Popper is a sleeping giant of the 20th century. The Logic of Scientific Discovery transformed the philosophy of science and is one of the classics of modern political philosophy. He combined the principles of social democracy and classical liberalism to resolve a number of issues which confuse and divide the friends of freedom.
