Good story... but dragged

The premise was interesting but I was frustrated because one simple question or comment could have clarified things. instead, it took the characters half of the book to figure things out. There was a mystery in the second half but the book would have been stronger had plot arcs been interwtined. Still, it's Lyndsay Sands and the book had its moments. Strong narration.
