Simon Prebble is brilliant
I live the whole series, it’s my 2nd time through. Simon Prebble’s narration truly captures the nature of Hamish’s betwixt and between existence.

A very interesting story, very well told
I was I was pleasantly surprised with this story. It was interesting from beginning to end with a few plot twists that I did not see coming. The narrator has an excellent voice and did a great job voicing the different characters, both male and female. I will definitely listen to another book by this author and I want to hear other books read by this narrator.

Hamish
I enjoyed this audiobook but have a couple of issues with it:
I lost track of characters at times given the twists and turns and various characters. Hamish is also a bit of a mystery to me at times.

Excellent Narrator; Easy-Listening Story
The endings of Charles Todd’s stories are always disappointing and anti-climactic to me, but I love the soothing time-travel to 1920 rural England so very much, and in Simon Prebble’s narration, that I keep listening to book after book.
