Publisher's Summary

Agatha Raisin, retired PR supremo, has been spurned at the alter by the man of her dreams - her attractive neighbor James Lacey. So temporarily deserting the sleepy Cotswold village of Carsely, she pursues her fleeing fiancé to north Cyprus where, instead of enjoying a romantic honeymoon, they witness the killing of an obnoxious tourist in a disco. Can the duo forget their differences and resume their strangely successful sleuthing partnership?

Excellent

Another story which keeps you waiting until the end to know who the murder is. Penelope Keith is the best reader.

Another great Beaton mystery!

Penelope Keith delivers again! Great listen. Well written, keeps one guessing and excellent characters! Highly recommend! But start with the first book of the series.

Well.paced and suspenseful

Really enjoyed this one. Also really like the romantic subplot. I really felt the descriptions of the locations and the characters were very well done..you could almost envision everything the author described. Well worth listening to!

Adventurous, inimitable Agatha Invades Cyprus

Adventurous, indomitable Agatha is on the loose in N Cyprus, hunting down former fiance, James. She creates havoc and uncovers murders and more, fending off local police accusations with Sir Charles in tow. Some interesting local colour and historical detail add interest to one of Agatha's best. Penelope Keith is amazing as always. There should be no other narrator and none other has done justice to Agatha and the cast of characters in her deceptively idyllic- seeming Cotswold world.
