Amazing Book!

I loved the way the author put together such an amazing love story between such different characters! Emily is a fantastic writer.
Listening to Abby is never disappointing. She gets the voices and emotions so good it makes you fall deep into the story line!

Excellent

Loved the entire story!
I only wish there was a bit more of them at the end finally being officially together.
Might we get a book 2? 👀
I’d love to read about more of their adventures and trials.

Loved it despite its flaws

This book is an LGBT romance novel first, fantasy novel second.

I loved the characters and loved watching their relationship grow over time. Unlike other wlw books I've read in the past with shapeshifters, this one's story fantasy setting actually has meaning and contributes well to the story, instead of just using it as a cheap romance backdrop. I enjoyed all 20+ hours of the book, and appreciated the ample world building and backstories that were included as part of the adventure. It certainly has a ton of well-written steamy scenes - which may be good or bad depending on your preferences.

That said, perhaps I've been spoiled by other epic fantasy trilogies that I've read in the past, but I still kept hoping for more from the fantasy aspect. There were some strange mixes of modern life into the fantasy setting that made me raise an eyebrow, or some intense action scenes that were talked about but not actually shown. These were things that I wish the book could have improved on, but none of it stopped me from loving the book all the same.

As someone who chases stories with LGBT representation and love sci-fi/fantasy, I guarantee I will be rereading this one again. Thank you to Emily Noon for one of my new favourite stories, and thanks to Abby Craden for delivering yet another wonderful piece of LGBT work!

Brilliant!

Wow! Absolutely love this audiobook! This has probably made it into my top ten. The length didn’t worry me but I wasn’t 100% sure about the whole fantasy thing. That being said, it was narrated by Abby Craden so I took a chance on it. I’ve never read a les-fantasy that was done particularly well. After the first chapter however, I was hooked!

I read lesbian romance for the romance and this one didn’t disappoint. Very swoon-worthy and great chemistry between the two MCs! But besides that, there was also a great amount of action and adventure. It was also quite funny in parts and the dialogue is great.

I have to disagree with the other review here about the narrator. Abby Craden is brilliant and absolutely my favorite narrator! It’s really difficult for me to listen to an audiobook when she’s not narrating. I literally search les-audiobooks almost exclusively by searching Abby Craden. So, Emily Noon, please, please, please continue to use Abby Craden for all your audiobooks!!

100% recommended

I love this book! So exciting and action packed you can never put it down once you started. Characters are so fleshed out, so likeable you can't help but root for them. This book is long but you'll wish it was longer. And Abby Craden, the narrator has outdone herself. She is perfect, the emotions and extra oomp in her story telling is definitely an experience.

Love the story :) !!! Not the Narrator :(

I loved the book! I also read the physical book and was extremely excited about the audiobook. But I was disappointed when I found out that Abby Craden has narrated this! I am not a fan of Abby craden; her boring and heavy (male) voice is my mood killer! I would have enjoyed the audiobook if the narrator was Angela Dawe or Brenda Scott Wlazlo!! Anyway, I still bought the book because I loved this book so much!!! Aurora's Angel is flat out awesome. A fantasy novel, lesbian characters, adventure, shifters, sex. Yes!!!

*** Note: Dear Emily Noon, please use a different narrator for your future books! ***

action...love...drama

This book is amazingly captivating. From the very first time we are introduced to Aurora it's hook line sinker. I wanted to listen every time I got in the car, while brushing my teeth, cooking....it did not matter. The attraction that grows between the two main characters is so natural. I wish I had someone who loved me like that lol. Just a really great story with ups and downs. MUST READ/LISTEN.

Fun and well performed but not a masterpiece

I loved the personality and the reader was amazing and managed to do a great job giving a lot of energy and personality to the characters. It is overall a very simple savior to lovers story that follows the tropes to a T so dont come here looking for a unique and innovative experience but it is a fun sexy romp you'll probably enjoy a lot if you don't think too hard

A new favorite

This is my first time reading this author as well as my first time finding a well written lesbian shifter/fantasy book. I had no idea what to expect going into this but I was not disappointed. The characters are well developed, the storyline is detailed and easy to follow, their world is well crafted and subtly lets you know the time period, there is a superb amount of natural dialogue...overall, this is easily one of my favorite books. I’d even put it in my top five, which is a feat considering the amount of books I’ve read and listened to. Emily Noon will be added to the list of authors I seek out. I loved everything about this book and would give an arm for an epilogue. Two arms and a leg for a sequel. Fantastic work and a beautiful performance by Abby Craden, as always.
