When floods dredge up their mother’s backpack from the everglades, tantalising clues are uncovered, and the police reopen the cold case.

Lily returns to Australia, determined to force Iris to finally tell her secret, and to do that, she'll have to reunite with her. But when Lily unlocks the gut-wrenching events of the past, she finds that everything she thought was true about her family is about to shatter.

I loved this mystery novel❤️

I really enjoyed this story. Loved how it ended and enjoyed the narrator. Also surprised at who committed the murder.

Great Listen!

I liked the story, it kept my interest for the entire storyline. The narration was also amazing, I find it hard to find narrators that are easy to listen to.

Such a page turner I couldn’t put it down

I loved all the characters especially Lily. She was amazing I held her close to my heart.

Great story! Great Performance! Read it!

Loved everything about this book!! Twists and turns, great characters, great performance. Binge worthy listen. Stop reading reviews and just read this one- you will not regret it!

Best free read

Best book in the audible plus catalogue I’ve listened to se far. Didn’t see the ending coming, lovely story. I’m going to check out other books by this author now. Narrator did well on the children’s voices, often I get the ick when listening to over exaggerated baby voices some narrators tend to use, but that could be a me problem :)

Unexpected turns. Kept dropping clues that lead to a surprising end. Well done.
