What is bad is the author's understand of writing characters. The characters can ger rather annoying. The protagonist in general is fairly immature and not the brightest bulb. This may be fine when he is young and his first couple of times through the loop. But his immaturity continuing well into his 30 gets rather annoying. For example why is a battle hardened man in later 20s blushing when talking to a 16/17 year old girl that he has all ready slept with, had a relationship with, broken up with.
Worst still are the supporting characters. They some how are more annoying yet still are portrayed as having more maturity than a 30 year old combat veteran (later loops) despite being in their later teens.
They constantly give the protagonist bad advice about everything yet the author treats it like the most sage advice ever given.
A good example, is the advice to pass up a good obvious avenue power he can safely wield. Power that is taught to him by his patron god for the specific purpose of being used. She directly communicates with him to do so. instead he listens to his teenage companions telling him it's wrong and against the gods. This power literally solved your problems even with the side effects. instead of solving for the side effect issue, he decides to pass it up.
The protagonist fails to see the most obvious answers to his problems. For example, you are a time traveler. Just take several loops to improve yourself and your skills till your ready to solve the problem safely. Or if you are that concerned about your family, just take them and run. The earlier excuse the authors uses is the family would not be able to start over or money problems. This just doesn't make sense, the protagonist's dad is a high level tailor, the protagonist can literally print money using his enchanting and so on. There is literally no reason not to leave.
Overall the decisions by the protagonist are poorly thought out.The characters are annoying and lack for intelligence.
That being said, it is technically well written, The author should work on improving their understanding of character writing, actually coniders the actions one can take to solve a problem and picks the path of least resistance.
i would definitely give this author a second chance after four or five more titles to see if they have improved. Author has a lot of potential.
