I learned so much! On how it feels to be on both sides of mental health. I’ve been having a hard time lately enjoying a book. This book was awesome from start to finish.

Woof, this book was hard to get through. So many heavy emotions, so much difficult content. It was, however, well-written, and the topic well-handled.

The narration by Joel Leslie is spectacular. So emotional, and his abilities with accents is superb.

It might seem odd that I’m not focused on the brilliant writing of Nicola Haken, the profound depth and passion of this story. But I must give a shout out to the remarkable narration of Joel Leslie - he’s magical in his performance, nuanced and outstanding in bringing these beloved characters to life! He’s one of a kind!

Fantastic narration and a the story of strength throughout. Check for TW as there are some really tough moments in this story but I loved both MC and (most of) their family and friends. A favourite listen in 2022. Really unique and beautiful.
