I recognize him immediately. The hottest cop in Waterbury and totally out of my league.

But then he kisses me.

And we totally forget the room, the crowd, everything.

Then he tells everyone we’ve been dating for months.

Soon everything starts to feel too real, from adorable fights over “necessary” tools to fix my broken porch to surviving a free-for-all dinner with his six siblings to picking up where our last kiss left off.

But there’s something he’s not telling me about why he’s really hanging around, and I’m pretty sure it has to do with my mob-connected brothers.

Because this is not a make-over story, and Cinderella is only a fairy tale....

This was my first book by this author. I loved the story and the characters. It was heartwarming. I liked the fact that it told a story that so many people can relate too but often don’t hear. The narrators did an amazing job. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. ❤️

All the feels

She was just very annoying with how ugly she kept saying she was. I have never met anyone who was so ugly they talked about it all day long let alone dating a sexy 6’2 fit detective. The story could have been good if she wasn’t so obsessed with being ugly. And people being this mean in life. I don’t know. It’s not believable. I know it’s a book. But still. This all seemed horrible for grown men especially officers to be this hurtful to someone they don’t even know. I don’t know. I didn’t like it that much. Still listened to it all and that was more to do with the narration

Hard to like Gina

The female narrator was very excellent. Intonation was spot on. He was good as well. First book I have experienced with male and female narration. Perfectly done. Loved the story. Which of us perfect? Great characters. I am getting the second book, as well.

Fun book

I enjoyed the plot of this story, the characters were fairly believable and it was easy to relate to them. I literally laughed out loud multiple times (which doesn’t happen often)

The Narrators performances were great and went together well with the personalities of both the FMC and MMC.

Sexy, hilarious....this one got me right in the feels. There's a little bit of Gina in each and everone of us.
