Publisher's Summary

Opposites attract in the third Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan Stoker.

Bailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang. Hiding out in Castle Rock, Colorado, is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogether. But when she meets handsome security nerd Nathan Anderson, she discovers a reason to stay and fight for what she wants.

Ace Security's Nathan Anderson has always been the "numbers guy," not the man any of the firm's clients look to when their safety is threatened. But from the first time he ran into Bailey, she never made him feel like less of a protector than his brothers. Nathan was attracted to the petite, black-haired pixie with wild tattoos from the start, and by some miracle, she seems to return his interest.

But danger stalks Bailey and her brother, so it's up to Nathan to channel his inner alpha and find a way to end the threat to their lives once and for all - and he's not giving up Bailey without a fight.

Solid addition to a great series

I really enjoyed Bailey and Nathan's story. It was sweet, funny, sexy and had enough twists to keep you listening, It also lets you see what is happening to the other characters from the previous books. I am a Susan Stoker fan and have liked all of her series so I was glad this one was no exception. You will get the most out of it from starting at the beginning of the series, but this is fine to as a stand alone. On a personal note, I got some ink in my younger years I was not proud of so I totally identified with that story point.

Nathan has been searching for Bailey for months. Fate intervene and sends Bailey to help Nathan.

In order to put an end to the Inca Boys gang, Ace Security needs to find Bailey. After Bailey sees and helps Nathan start his unreliable car, she hands him her card from the repair garage where she works. On the other side of the card he is stunned to see the woman has written her name, Bailey. Positive she is the one he has been searching for he takes his car to have it fixed by her. He had felt instant attraction towards her and that feeling increases each time they get together. He takes an interest in Jole her 10 year old brother also. The poor kid has problems from the time he and Bailey spent with the Inca Boys and especially under the terrible control of Donovan the leader of the Inca Boys. Donovan has been paroled and it's no secret he wants his property, Bailey and Jole back. Along with the rest of Ace Security they set a plan in motion. Nathan is the kindest most sensitive man just what Bailey needs. He is also a great role model for her Jole. Enjoyed the narration.

I love the nerdy hero!

Bailey is a tough, strong heroine. She is the former girlfriend of a gang leader and looks the part with all her tattoos. Working as a mechanic, she is trying to make a better life for herself and her brother Joel.

Nathan is the nerdy Anderson brother of Ace Security. He is more the “numbers” guy and not the rough and tough, out in the field guy. But when things “hit the fan” Nathan steps up and keeps Bailey and Joel safe.

“You deserve more. Don’t fall for me,” Bailey warned him.
“Too late,” was Nathan’s whispered response.

Claiming Bailey might be my new favorite book by this author! I love the nerdy hero!

Lots of unique interaction between characters

Interesting story, filled with intrigue, danger and romance. Story shows how different siblings can be, even triplets. Great narration by Ms Bennett.

Way too graphic for me

Story was pretty good, the protagonists easy to empathize with. This seemed like more of a sex textbook for men, when I would much have preferred less sex and more story.

Claiming Bailey

What a good book. It's written with finesse, filled with compassion, angst, & the unconditional love the Anderson brothers have for each other. It's a winning combo. I hope Claiming Felicity is as good as I'm getting ready to start it. Can't wait for more from this series.

Nathan's story.

Really enjoying this series. This book in the series was nice as Nathan is a nerd and not the buff super soldier so many heroes are. Bailey has escaped from the gang but she knows eventually Damon would find her. How they outsmart him is fantastic. The ending nicely sets up the next book which I can't wait to read.

Recommended

Bailey and Nathan are an unlikely couple. Bailey comes with a background of gang life such that it is. Nathan is a reserved, quiet man who's family background is one of abuse. At this time in their lives, they are just what each other needs. Nathan is also just what Joel, Bailey's little brother needs as well.

Erin Bennett did a fantastic job once again.

3.5 Stars!

I loved the narrator. Erin Bennett did a really good job with this book and these characters.

I enjoyed this story but I have to admit the recaps of all the vile things the villain of the story did to Bailey and her brother was not easy to listen too.

Nathan was fantastic. I love a nerdy hero and he treated Bailey with nothing but respect and care. He was very sweet but firm when he needed to be.

I liked Bailey a lot, however she deals with a lot of shame over her past with Donovan, the evil Villain. I hated the things she went through.

Joel, Bailey's little brother was not an easy character to like. There was a lot of character growth with him in the story line because he was being groomed by Donovan to be part of the gang. This made for a 9 year old boy who had major attitude. This is where Nathan showed what a good hero he was not only to Bailey but to Joel as well.
