This was my first read from this author and I enjoyed it. I was intrigued by a teaser and the tropes so figured it was time I gave it a try.

I was loving the interaction and chemistry between, Killian and Tessa had an instant attraction and could not keep away from one another. We were treated to some steam early and often. I did enjoy seeing them develop a closer relationship and really want to know the other better. It felt genuine and you could feel the love and care they shared. Especially since their relationship is that of a forbidden romance. They just fit so well together.

I was not expecting the added bit of mystery
/suspense with the plot-and I have to say I liked that a lot and seeing it all unfold.

This was a quick easy read, I enjoyed the rest of the couples from the series and the friendships between them. I may just have to go back a read this series from the beginning.

I really enjoyed the audio with this one, Austin Stone and Samantha Brentmoor really fit Killian and Tessa. It was wonderful to listen as they brought the story to life. I was easily sucked in!
