A sweet Montana ranch story of a business in trouble purchased by a rich out of towner. She grew up going there with her father on vacations and now buys the business to save it from her ex husband’s greed. The twist was a bit predictable, but the story was still quite heartwarming. I liked how the flashbacks gave context throughout the story, and the calls home to her father became increasingly more sad. I liked the world the author created. I felt like I could really see the ranch and appreciate how beautiful the land was.

I liked that there was a twist in part of the story at the end that I was not expecting and felt it made the story more interesting than your avg romance you read these days. I cannot stand the female narrators inflections though. I've listened to a number of other books narrated by her and it's the same way and I don't know, something about it takes me out of the story. Not a reason not to listen though !

Excellent narration, Beautiful story about loss and grief, and about lost love and second chances. The setting is lovingly described and it’s a love letter to Montana. Highly recommend

I'm not sure I could have chosen a better book to start my Devney Perry journey!! Crossroads is a MASTERPIECE second chance, childhood friends to lovers romance that tugged at my heart and made me fall so deeply in love along with the Indya & West 🩵 Their story was so captivating, moving & memorable that I was in awe from the start and knew early on that it would stick with me long after the last page.

The 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙘 of this book for me was in the dual timeline. Devney did an outstanding job of pulling you into the world of Haven River Ranch, all the way back to the first meeting between 8 year old Indya and 10 year old West. The flashbacks throughout their story, recalling every pivotal moment of their friendship and later relationship, made me feel so connected to them and I felt every emotion right alongside them. The chemistry between Indya & West, both in the past and the present, was SO authentic and electric! WEST HAVEN ladies and gentlemen 😮‍💨

This is one of the most SPECTACULAR audiobooks I've ever listened to! Beautifully performed by Samantha Brentmoor & Connor Crais, their performances gripped me from the very first chapter - making me laugh, hold my breath and shed tears towards the end 🥺 Samantha's emotional portrayal of Indya was unmatched! And Connor Crais...what can I even say. His narration of West was the perfect balance of soft/sweet & possessive/dominant when needed. I was BLOWN AWAY by these two!

Crossroads is an absolute must-read story that will tug on your heartstrings and leave you waiting with bated breath for the second edition!!

Ughhhh this book was everything!

West Haven is my new favourite cowboy book boyfriend. And I completely I adored Indya. These two were literally made for each other and circumstances just kept misaligning over the years. They went through so much together.

I love that everything they ever did was out of love for one another.

This book packed SO many feels in it. The love, friendship, devastation, vulnerability, resentment, anger, love, lust, connection, fear, frustration, grief, protectiveness, tension, security, did I mention LOVE. All of it. It was perfect.

I cannot wait for what seemed to be hinting at book two in the epilogue.
