À propos de cet audio
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Freida McFadden comes an electrifying medical thriller, Dead Med, originally published as Suicide Med.
"All I can think about is how pathetic it would be to die in the anatomy lab. The last thing I want is to become one of the dead bodies."
When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs.
But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.
Everyone has a breaking point.
Then, on the night before the final exam in anatomy, a shot rings out through the hallways of Dead Med.
The school has claimed yet another casualty. One of Heather's classmates has done the unthinkable, and before her desperate 911 call even connects, it will happen again.
And the night is just beginning.
Please note that Dead Med was originally published as Suicide Med. Dead Med is a revision with 20% new material.

Whitney had some misgivings when she dropped her increasingly moody teenage daughter, Amelia, off at Lauren’s house. She’d never met the parents, and usually she’d go in, but Amelia clearly wasn’t going to let something so humiliating happen, so instead Whitney waved to her daughter before pulling away from the little house with the roses in front. But when she goes back the next day, an elderly couple answers the door - Amelia and Lauren aren’t there, and this couple swears they never were, that she’s at the wrong house.

Thoroughly Enjoyable
I love this authors style of writing. I have listen to many of their books and this one didn't disappoint. I particularly liked the way each characters perspectives were told. The narrators were awesome too. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the listen.

Enjoyable listen. Easy to follow.
Overall a very enjoyable listen! Kept me interested - I finished the book pretty quickly. The voice actors were well-chosen. The story was told from multiple perspectives. I’m not sure the ending was for me but that’s ok. The journey was solid enough!

Not her best work
The story wasn't terrible, but it has a slow start. The middle picks up a bit and goes through the same period of time from several characters perspective, and that part isn't bad, but the ending was SO disappointing. It's anticlimactic, and if you like stories where all the questions and loose ends are tied up and the "what happened with this thing?" questions are answered, this isn't the book for you.

Not a fan of her med thrillers
I tend to like most Freida mcFadden books but this is the second medical one that I have not particularly enjoyed. I finished it and did not guess the ending, but found a few of the characters annoying.

Not my favourite
I have loved every single Freida McFadden book I have read but this one just isn’t it. The multiple POV’s ruined it for me. I felt like we weren’t really getting anywhere with it. It wasn’t her usual keep me on my toes book, instead I found myself frustrated every time a new POV came in :/ it felt like it rambled on and then was rushed at the end!

Dragged
This booked dragged too much. Too many characters and got boring but I had to finish listening because I paid for it. Not worth the read. I love Frieda’s books, they’re the only books I read. This was not one I would recommend. And the guy narrating was boring and breathing was annoying like he was breathing out after he spoke. It was annoying
