Very unique book - unlike anything she has written before. So interesting and you really root for Debbie!

This book was so good from the very first Paige. I love the main character and for the first time in a very long time I did not guess the twist. Excellent book. Stellar narration!!!!

Favourite Frieda book yet!!

This story relies on a ton of completely unbelievable plot points. And the dialogue is nearly unbearable. No one talks to each other like that. I would be hard pressed to believe one person in someone’s life speaks to them the way every single person on Debbie’s life speaks to or about her. The two most annoying things - and feel free to stop reading here if you haven’t read the book yet - are that she supposedly has an IQ of 176 and programs apps to track her family but oopsie! She just forgets to leave her phone at home or turn off the tracking while committing pre-meditated crimes. The second is that her college rapist is now coworkers and friends with her husband? Sure. Whatever. Freida’s writing is the equivalent of a B movie. I gave the performance a 5 because Julia Whelan is flawless and exceptional. The male narrator was unnecessary considering Julia does male voices perfectly on her own. If you want fast paced barely sensical slop - this is for you.
