Publisher's Summary
Have you ever felt your marriage get cluttered up with sins and cumulative wrongs? Do you wish you could deal with it but don't know where to begin?
Douglas Wilson loves to point out that the way you fix these sorts of sin pileups is the same way you declutter a garage: Begin with the first layer, work to the bottom, and then keep it clean. That's because the key to a good marriage is honest, complete, and humble confession of sin.
This short, little audiobook, coming from a pastor with 40 years of experience, offers concrete practical suggestions about how to confess sin properly and how to avoid other snares married people tend to get snagged on, usually depending on whether they're the man or the woman.
Decluttering Your Marriage will give you much gospel advice with much gospel encouragement. Features an extra checklist to help implement this audiobook in your day-to-day lives.

Concise yet powerful
This book identifies the handles that will help to keep a relationship strong or restore a broken marriage. I highly recommend the $3 investment for this book.

Beware, this is a”Christian “ book. Wolf.
I dislike misleading titles. This is a preaching Christian book about marriage. I just think religious books should define themselves as such. I absolutely do not recommend this book.

I didn’t think I could listen to this
The reader is awful😣
Sorry, I really am... I want to listen to this book very much.
The readers voice is PAINFULLY monotone...
I am honestly amazed that this was released with this poor fella as the reader.
I wish Doug would read his own books.
I did really enjoy the fiction about the teacher & preacher... her voice was perfect for the story.
The value of the book made the task of listening to it completely worth it.

The Premarital Counseling We Never Had
The title of this review is a bit facetious, yet on a serious note, if these principles are applied at the beginning, there will be no accumulated clutter. Pastor Wilson is the favorite for my wife and I when it comes to marriage, the family, and Covenantal Theology in general. The reading was consistent and clear. A perfect book to listen to together with your spouse instead of the television.

Short Book: Golden Principles
Have you ever wondered what it meant when Jesus told us "If you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well. But if you don't forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing"? (Matthew 6:14-15 HCSB)
In this book, Pastor Doug Wilson hit me right between the eyes as he spelled out what obedience to Christ looks like in marriage for both the husband and the wife. This is not a self-help book; instead it is an extended discussion of "This is how the bible tells you to treat other people: get busy doing it in your marriage first and foremost." Get this book: it is worth every penny.

Powerful truths, but...
The content of the book is piercing. I’m certain I’ll be referring to these truths for quite awhile. However, I think the reader’s style and expression (or rather lack of), steals from the message itself. Nonetheless, I will still be
recommending the book (yes, even in the audible version).
