Kent's narrative grips you from the start, dragging you into a world where the line between desire and danger blurs beyond recognition. The characters, particularly the enigmatic Aiden King, are painted in shades of darkness that both entice and repel. On the first day of school, he approaches her, pushes her against the wall with his hand wrapped around her throat and says “I will destroy you”. For two years he stays clear of her but in their senior year he decides to pursue her! She hates him so much but soon the hate turns into this feeling of want, crave even! This is such a great story of enemies to lovers but with so many unknown secrets between them! The cliffhanger was epic! I couldn’t put this book down and I’m itching to read the next book! I rate this story 5 stars! Absolutely amazing.

The first two books in the series weren’t really my cup of tea at first. They were so well written that I actually disliked a lot of the characters because they were assholes. But then, as I kept reading through each book, so much kept coming to light, and I found myself really connecting with all the characters—even the ones I initially hated. I honestly loved how it felt like teenagers just telling their story, with the narrators doing an amazing job capturing each character’s voice. And the spice was just perfect!

At first I didn’t like it, now I love it!
