Can't wait for the next installment
I usually don't read series books where the main characters aren't replaced by a new power couple who takes the lead in the sequel. I've found myself bored in the past after I've watched the couple fall in love, go through their trials & tribulations, end up together, only to see it on repeat through every subsequent books. The Curtis & Reynolds series though, I think I would devour every book without ever getting bored if Carolyn Elizabeth continues on this streak of captivating characters & relationships, mysteries to unravel, and fun and thrilling storylines. I loved Dirt Nap (and Thayer & Corey) and hope there are many more books that follow in this series. Oh, and I also hope Nana Lil is in every single sequel as she's hilarious!

i love it
I love this book and I'm still kicking myself that it took me so long to read this book the author Lori voice actor did an amazing job she was amazing narrator and she was an amazing actor for the voice I hope look forward to seeing her in book 3 with these wonderful characters yeah I have to find out book 3 coming it's I believe couple months after New Year's I want to say but it is coming so I do look forward to seeing Lori back at it again with these characters with book three drops so
want to give a bit of a warning cuz I got the same warning and I'm very thankful for that person who wrote it if you looking at the comments please take this a heed the first opening up this book is a crime scene I'm not going to spoil the scene but don't eat anything okay. do not eat anything I don't care how strong you think your stomach is. you're going to be queasy and you going to your face is going to scrunch up the scenes very descriptive is a good scene and brings up a lot of emotions the characters just coming off of being injured last off
just picked up right where it left off and previous book which I do love it when books do that by the way so the scene was described very well Lori did an excellent job on this scene as the narrator
and Lori voice actor and painting the scene for you which sometimes it's hard to feel so it's a disturbing scene but again this is a medical book all characters in is a corner so I just gave us a different part of her job that we didn't get it really get to see in the first book so I really enjoyed that but it's like I said be careful. Other than that the book is great
and I say this to sign off this is a romance book to me it's a thriller / mystery book to me it's a friend book a represent the LGBT community very well that's me being a straight woman with friends that are in LGBT community.
I think it did a really good job with expression that community and I love the hell out of the book you know originally this was just for me to kick back and relax and I like to consider myself open-minded for most part all books so yeah I enjoy the hell out of this book I can't wait for book 3 you cannot go wrong step out of your comfort zone for a while.
especially if you're not a medical reader like myself I don't usually do medical books I do but it has to have some like actual action in it so this is not the kind of books.
like I said before but it's a good book is some good some angst between some of the characters as far as things happened between them and I think it was done very well there's a lot that happened in this book I want to talk about it but I don't want to spoil it well that's a hard thing about reviews you want to say what you want to say but you got to keep in mind that like myself I came into this book late so I could spoil it and I don't want to do that but it's just give it a try y'all just give it a try for new readers and for the ones that read the before we have a long to wait before book 3

Great listening!
I was thoroughly entertained. I went through a spectrum of emotions: laughter, anger, happiness, and even a touch of ‘a grossed out”. The first book was just as good. A little murder mystery with just enough sexiness. I hope there is a 3rd book in the works. The narrator was great as usual. Definitely could tell the difference between characters. Buy this book. You won’t be disappointed.
