Publisher's Summary

Life is good for lodge owner and sometime-hit woman Nadia Stafford - a couple of dogs, a job she takes satisfaction in, and the man she loves at her side as they literally build a home together. It's as close to normal as a pair of contract killers can get.

Jack knows that sometimes being very, very good at what you do can be very, very bad - for those around him. He's gone to great lengths to keep his past from catching up with Nadia. He also knows it's only a matter of time....

Jack is halfway around the world when the trap is triggered. They're coming for Nadia. And he has no way to warn her.

Wonderful!

Any additional comments?

I loved this novella. It felt like a visit with an old friend. I listened to the Nadia Stafford novels on Audible a couple of years ago. They just went back to the top of my to-be-listened-to-again list.

Great story with really good narration

I really enjoyed the story! I will be reading the rest of the series since it’s not available on audio, but I might wait for it. It’s worthy!

Another great action packed story about Nadia!

I love everything that Kelley Armstrong writes. The Nadia Strafford series is one of my favorites. If you are a fan of this series you will love to listen to this on Audible. I enjoyed being back with Nadia and all the characters including Jack, Evelynn, and Quinn, plus a host of bad guys.
The very best part was the ending. To find out, you will have to buy this; which I highly recommend!

Nadia Stafford Book 3.5

Nadia Stafford Book 3.5

Nadia, Jack and the gang are back! When Jack receives the call from an old mentor to take a job out of the country, Nadia stays at the lodge to cater to her customers. However, she is recruited by the Contrapasso to find her friend, Quinn. On his job, Jack gets a bad feeling and is proven correct when Killian double-crosses him. Now, Jack is frantic to find Nadia to keep her safe.

If you're looking for a story with old friends, murder and intrigue, this is the book for you!

More Nadia Stafford!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Double Play to be better than the print version?

I love both! I have become addicted to audible books but there are times I like to read a book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jack, of course! He complements Nadia so well and allows her to be tough and independent. Jack clearly loves the things we love about Nadia!

What does Vivienne Leheny bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her intonation gives you another way to hear the character's voice. Sometimes it is very different from your interpretation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.
