Publisher's Summary

As Evan focuses on rebuilding Hatra, he discovers the project, and the city, are much bigger than he first thought. And things are lurking in the shadowed ruins.

Then a phoenix princess comes flying out of the desert, and she begs Evan to save her people from deadly creatures that have pursued them relentlessly.

Evan’s not one to turn down a beautiful princess, and besides, there is treasure to be found in the desert.

Maybe it’s time to start his own dragon hoard...

very nice 4th book

this series is still going strong. I like that each book has a mini plot in the grand scheme of the series. not just mini chapters to a long book. being a fan of the author I know that the next is coming soon. he writes faster than I can read. thanks

Damn Bugs

Not sure if its okidna or akidna, either way OUCH! Damn nasty fuckers. Love the new addition of the Pheonixes. Can see some betrayals with that brat who tried to stand up to Evan. And have to wonder, is the Red Dragon fertilized? Could be an interesting plot twist there as well.
Keep up the great work

Not a bad book out of the series.

The performance was well down but the book has its dry moments but overall it wasn't bad.

only a slight issue

This was a good book, but the male narrator was WAY too intense at parts where normal speech was needed. kinda like asking how someone was doing, but across a battlefield during an ongoing fire fight.
