About this listen

This is it.

Alpha team goes once more into the breach.

On what will be their final missions ever in the Zulu Alpha - and the fight of their lives — Homer & Ali, and Predator & Juice, launch out into the terminal post-Apocalypse, as London is overrun by the very last rush of death covering the entire planet. Neither mission can fail, but can all four teammates survive? Or will some go down safeguarding the lives of those they love more than life itself?

Handon fights his way back from the dead.

As reinforcements flood into CentCom, ahead of the onslaught of the undead world, one man lies in a coma at the heart of humanity's final fallback position. But will the ghosts of all those who've fallen before, and the love of those who yet remain, be enough to bring him back to life, and back to the fight, in time to lead the final battle?

The last survivors man the Alamo of the Alamo.

As CentCom is overrun, and it all collapses and the screen goes black, the last heroes of humanity have one final chance to save the world. But as they cling to one another in their shrinking circle of life, will they be able pull it off from the mast of the last sinking ship in a world submerged in a sea of death...?

Love. Death. The End of the line. Endgame.

I have read and listened to a number of zombie stories. Most of which are, as of yet, unfinished and seem unlikely to ever be finished.

This series, however, does have a definite conclusion, and the conclusion that it comes to is satisfying and complete. The series takes you through absolute darkness and despair and you end up on the other side of death, happy and satisfied with the final result.

Well done.

Excellent conclusion to a fantastic series

A lot of authors get to the end and don't know quite how to wrap things up however this is not the case. The story was great and there were a lot of unexpected moments. I am also glad that someone made the decision to keep this as one 18 hour book and not chop it up into pieces like some of the previous in the series. I truly enjoyed the entire series and I am sure that I will revisit it in the future.

Excellent Ending

An unbelievable end to an epic saga. the amazing caste of characters given life and vivid detail by an incredible author and a spectacular voice actor.

Brilliant!

I know nothing about the the military or guns, so the elaborate descriptions didn't really do anything for me, but the it's not enough to take away my 5 out of 5 rating. The story's great, I love R.C. Bray, and even though he can't do British accents, kudos for not trying and buggering it up. I've purchased a number of books solely for the fact he's the narrator!

This entire series is edge-of your seat, root for the good guys and hate the bad guys, entertaining stories and storytelling at its best. Although it can get a little repetitive and drags on a bit at times, after I finished each book, I'd do a little happy dance when I had another in the series to download. I'm very sad the series concludes with Endgame, but happy I have other Michael Stephen Fuchs books to choose from.

Entertaining stories meet great story-telling!

I’ve just finished listening to the audiobook series ‘Arisen’ for the third time. The entire runtime of the series is 168 hours and not one second of it is boring or unnecessary. The story is brilliant, the action is engrossing, the dialogue is sharp, and the narration style is perfection. I think it would be the most amazing TV series ever made if that ever happened, even if they changed nothing; but it would still be shit compared to listening to it. Too much would be lost. Including Bray’s interpretation of the voices and mannerisms. Yes it has zombies. But that’s not what I love about it. Some scenes involving zombies are truly insanely epic in scope but it’s the characters. Some of the best characters ever put to paper, and of course voiced.

The entire series is a masterpiece
