À propos de cet audio

Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?

Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.

But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue?

And what will become of it when it’s caught?

Murderbot never fails to make me smile, but this edition was the weakest so far plot wise. I love the dramatization of the audiobooks the voice actors and vocal engineers do a Great job on this series where I will only listen to this version of the audiobooks.

My least favourite so far

I only have this book of the series in the dramatized style, bought it without realizing that it was different from the other books. I like hearing the pewpews! But there are big turn-offs that make me cringe. I hate this white-washed Mensa. Producers are so tone-deaf. She is a strong black woman in the book, its important in building the character, a main character- how many books have a strong black female in charge who isnt later shown to be fatally flawed? and so its shameful that here she has a tinny little white woman's voice. im sad that this happened, sad about what this says about what was likely a marketing decision. Also Murderbot was read by someone who didn't even understand what he was reading. "YOU have to be calm to take over a gunship." No. No. He was reading dialogue that he didn't take time to understand. Lots of examples where inflection was wrong and that messed up the story. These kinds of errors take a great book and make it a generic flat audio production. Sigh.

Great Murderbot story, weak production
