Picked up at the end

I did not care for the beginning of the book. It was slow and the main character was less than impressive. However, the development of all the characters and the storyline ended up being great at the end.

Furthermore, I don’t like the narrator. She is over dramatic at times when the situation does not call for it. She makes some of them sound like whiny teenagers. Regardless, I was able to get passed it and I am not letting it stop me from listening. I would not be sad if Maas decides to use someone else though.

Amazing narrator

This series keeps getting better and better. We are introduced to many characters but it’s not convoluted. Everything ties in beautifully. On to the next in the series

Exciting!

This was very exciting! I thought this third book of the series was terrific. Celaena is learning from a Fae Prince how to control her powers. Rowan is not a gentle teacher. There are also dark forces around them getting ready for battle. Her other friends are also getting ready for battle with the King! Terrific narration!
