I like the Undying Merc series. Bought all the books. This is a good entry.
In every book, there's always an intro with some exposition on characters, technologies and world building. To help new readers catch up. This book is 40% of that. It gets old quick for people that are up to date. Still a decent book. Will buy the next one regardless.
