A short, spooky, fall read set in Sleepy Hollow 🍂💀 — a Headless Horseman retelling with dark-gothic, spicy romance and a touch of dark academia 🕯️📚

It’s dark but not too dark — a good intro to dark romance if you’re just dipping your toes in. The why-choose setup leans toward an MMMF dynamic (the men are also involved with each other), so if you prefer FMM-only stories, keep that in mind ❤️‍🔥

I liked the atmosphere and concept but wished for a bit more pace and deeper exploration of the witchy school setting. Still, it was a fun, moody read, and I’m intrigued enough to continue — Book 2 releases Dec 2nd! 🎃

🎧 Audiobook Note:
Narrated by Carolyn Eve & Arthur Russel (dual, not duet). Carolyn was fantastic, but Arthur’s voice sounded older than expected for the male lead, which threw me off slightly. Still enjoyable overall 🎧✨

I am absolutely mind blown how fast this book sucked me in and it kept me there!!! it was absolute perfection and the amount of times my jaw dropped was impressing on its own.
I did this as a buddy read with one of my girls and omg, the story alone is amazing but I basically forced her to listen to because the cast did AMAZING and I am absolutely obsessed with Crain.
karina did it again, another masterpiece!!!
