About this listen

A new winter holiday, enemies-to-lovers romance, from the undeniably funny and always spicy, USA Today bestselling author, Meghan Quinn.

Living in a year around Christmas town has its drawbacks. The caroling, the decorations, the insanely cheery spirit, it never disappears. It's why I like to hibernate away in my cave - I mean housekeeping a healthy distance from the holly jolly spirits.

And all was going according to plan until my nemesis, Storee Taylor, moved in next door to care for her Aunt Cindy. Without blinking, she turned my simple world into a real nightmare-before-Christmas, especially when she decided to enter the town Christmas Kringle contest - which she was determined to win.

Well guess what? Over my cold-hearted body.

There was no way I was going to let her win, not after the history we'd shared.

So despite my promise to myself of never participating in the sickening Christmas season, I entered the competition as well. That's right, I planned on beating Storee at her own game by pretending this grump’s heart grew three sizes this season.

And it was working until feelings between us started heating up.

We pretended to date.

We kissed.

And well, sparks flew from there.

Which led to one explosive night involving Christmas lights, the competition, and a ladder. Don't let me convince you who stole Christmas, I think you need to find out for yourself . . .

A festive fun and sexy rom-com!

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas was the perfect combo of festive fun and spicy romance.

I enjoyed the story's wintery setting and the cozy small town charm.
Main characters Cole and Storee had playful banter, and their attraction to each other could be felt. As their feelings developed, so did the heat between them! The food play scene will make you see pineapple candy canes in a whole new light. Try coming across them in the grocery store and not picturing that particular scene!!

I listened to the audio version of HMNSC, and I enjoyed the whole cast. Each voice actor really brought their character, the atmosphere, and the story to life. The retelling of the grinch story throughout worked really nicely. The narrator was great!

Overall, this was a cute and hot Christmas rom-com. I would definitely recommend listening to the audio version!

Funny Light Hearted Christmas Romance

A cute, fun, hilarious - with modern day humour - feel good Christmas romance ~ plays with the theme of the classic Grinch ~ I needed something fun to get me into the holiday spirit and this was perfect.

The narration was so funny — the narrator also interacted with some of the characters so that was fun too.

I really enjoyed it and will probably revisit next year.

Good Christmas romance

It was my first audiobook and I loved it. The only reason I tried it in audio instead of reading it was because of all the great reviews of it being a full cast narration and stuff. I have to admit, they were right. It was a great audiobook, I loved their performance. The story was cute, the poems were not really my think but it was okay still. It's really just a grumpy/sunshine kinda romance and throw Christmas in the mix, but it was the light and fluffy story I needed for the Holidays. Highly recommend if you like light/fluffy christmas stories.

This dang book! Soooo good.

So, it's been a while since I read a Meghan Quinn book. The one I had read, I really enjoyed, so I was super excited to pick this one up.

I am so glad that I did for this holiday season, as I loved every minute of it!

This is a true enemies to lovers trope, the rivalry & banter between the two main characters is chefs kiss. Then when the slow burn finally ends ... 🔥

I just love me a book with a good competition & lots of side characters who love and care for the main characters.

Imagine the Grinch is a hot guy and Max is his hot guy best friend

My rating is more like 3.5 stars…the story was cute and a fun take on the Grinch meets a Hallmark movie. The narrator parts were fun and there were a lot of nods to the original story. That said, I didn’t really like the Storee or Taryn characters. They were not very relatable and were both kind of mean at times. I loved the dynamics between Max and Cole. Max is the hype man we all need, and the way he and his family rallied around Cole was truly heart warming. I would definitely ready a story about Max (Atlas).

Great cast!

The cast did an amazing job. Max and Cole’s relationship was the best part as well as the narrator’s interactions with Cole; laugh out loud funny! It took me a little bit to like and connect with Storee but got better as things progressed. Would definitely recommend!
