This is my third listen to this author's books, and they all fell short for me and didn't grab my interest. The emotional connection/chemistry is not there. Lots of telling. So much sex but not as hot as you would think. Maybe this is me problem.... 😕
I only bought this audio because it was narrated by Christian Fox 🦊🔥 iykyk (and Liam DiCosimo). They both did a fantastic job otherwise this would have been a DNF for me.

This is an MM hockey, bi-awakening, rivals-to-lovers, enemies-with-benefits, scorching hot romance.
I listened to the audiobook and this was some of the best narration I've ever listened to. Christian Fox is no-doubt going to the top of my favorite narrators of all time and Liam DiCosimo also did an amazing job.
This book has a lot of spice and maybe for some people not enough plot, but I didn't mind one bit. The story mainly focusses on the evolution of the relationship between the two main characters. The dynamic between the two was so fun, I love a hate-to-love romance. The banter was equally funny, cute and clever. The whole story had a great follow through, everything was coherent and made sense. Same with the characters. I connected so much with them and their story and I loved them individually.
And oh boy, that was hot.
I highly recommend this book.

The reason this wasn't quite a five-star read for me was that I often felt like some of the most important moments in the relationship were rushed or skipped over. There were times when I wanted to stay with the characters a little longer—to experience the conversations, emotional vulnerability, and relationship milestones in more depth instead of moving quickly to the next stage of the story. Those quieter, in-between moments are often what make a romance unforgettable for me.
The spice was definitely good and there were some great intimate scenes, but I personally prefer books that spend even more time developing those moments through dialogue, emotion, anticipation, and vulnerability. I wanted to feel a little more immersed in the characters' experience.
Overall, this was an enjoyable MM hockey romance with believable chemistry, likeable characters, and an engaging story.
