I really enjoyed the book. Ayaan’s story is very captivating. It truly put tears into my eyes. Having come from the same religious background, it’s incredible to hear her experience, which is much different from mine since I am not a woman. The fact is no idea should be immune to scrutiny. Good ideas will always stand against scrutiny.

The author’s story and experiences stay with you long after you finish the book. I learned so much about Somalia, Somali women’s experiences and one woman’s powerful and compelling will. This book was a gift to gain an essential perspective on parts of the world you may have no typical access to otherwise. It’s the most candid invitation into the outer and inner life of a remarkable woman.

This book is very well done. it has strong ethical and moral viewpoints about how wrong we are letting society run, absolutely losing chivalry in lieu of closing our eyes to the abuse of women in the name of inclusion. it is time to wake up and take a stand. Do read this book and share!

This story is still going on everywhere Europe North America and not many people have the courage to stand up and try and do something about it I applaud her.
